Company History

Vivace Music Store has been serviced In Brisbane since in the late 1990’s. A music teacher, a graduate of Queensland Concervatorium, saw the need to provide the Sunnybank Hills area, Brisbane with quality music tuition. From this idea Vivace Music was born. We opened to the public in 1999 as an 8 studio Musical Education Centre on Pinelands Road at Sunnybank Hills. Through our students we began to appreciate the need for quality and reasonably priced instruments. 2001 saw us expand and begin to sell pianos, keyboards, string instruments and print music publications. Over the years we have grown to become a truly “one stop music shop”. We offer a wide and diverse range of musical instruments and equipment as well as musical instrument repair and services. 

Sunnybank Hills Store - General Instrument Store & Music School

Our first store is located at Sunnybank Hills, Queensland. We are on a main road on the southside of Brisbane. If you are driving, we are only a 15min drive from the Brisbane CBD. As we are located in a stand alone commercial building, our store has plenty of car parking available for our customers. Our ground floor showroom is dedicated to our piano department. Our upper floor provides a home for our digital piano, keyboard, guitar, drum, string, woodwind and brass and print music departments. Musical instrument repairs and servicing is also available.

Here, our on-site music school offers music lessons for various instruments from the age of 4 to adults – beginner to advanced. 

MacGregor Store - Piano Showroom

In 2014, our 2nd store, Vivace Piano & Strings, was opened as one of the largest piano showrooms in Australia. We stock a wide range of pianos including KAWAI, FAZIOLI, and preloved grands and uprights. Not only that, Vivace Pianos & Strings has an elegent on-site auditorium with capacity of 100 seats available for concerts and workshops.

Underwood Store - Instrument Outlet

In 2015, our 3rd store was opened at Sunnybank Plaza Shopping Centre with large selection of display stocks of Guitars, Drums, PA, Audio Tech, Keyboards, Acoustic & Digital Pianos, music accessories and print music. In 2018, this store soon will be relocated in Underwood as the biggest musical instrument showroom in Queensland. Our Underwood store is also a home for YAMAHA PIANOS. Here, all our staffs are professional musicians with professional knowledge of the products we stock. Vivace Music aims to provide the best possible service and shop experience to our customers.
